There are other cabins available and even a yurt. The Pretty Point Yurt has everything the York Cabin has but in a permanent tent. Now that's camping in style!
The truly incredible Lake Metigoshe State Park is a getaway everyone should want to take. Not only is the area breathtakingly gorgeous and serene, it also has some of the best camping in the state. The park has quite a few cabins available for all levels of comfort. You could stay at the Osprey Cabin, a more primitive cabin that can only be hiked or biked to. Or stay at the Cormorant Cabin with everything you need but running water. Need more than that? The Loon Lodge, Slemmen Lodge, and White Pelican Cabin all come fully equipped with kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and more.
The scenic Fort Ransom State Park, tucked into the Sheyenne River Valley, has everything you need for a perfect stay as someone who hates camping. Even if a cabin is a little too far for you, they still have you covered! You can stay at an entire house, called the Bjone House, which is more than 100 years old and fully equipped to accommodate all your needs. There is also, of course, cabins, two luxurious yurts, and campgrounds.
