Whether you're simply passing through the Land of Enchantment or you're looking for a unique staycation, New Mexico is home to some pretty awesome accommodations. One of these unique, cozy, and unforgettable places to stay is the Hotel Luna Mystica near Taos. This is certainly not your traditional hotel. Rather than spend the night in a stuffy hotel room, you get to sleep in a fabulous vintage trailer at this unique hotel in New Mexico.
This vintage trailer hotel is located on 12 acres and features 20 vintage trailers for you to reserve all year long.
Each trailer is unique and can accommodate a different number of guests.
You can even bring your furry family pet along. The trailers are pet-friendly, but do require an additional pet deposit.
You can sleep in trailers from the 1950s like the Spartan Imperial Manor, also known as Jazzy …
… or the 1972 Mobile Scout trailer, also known as Castor.
While the amenities vary, each trailer features a heating and cooling system, and a small private bathroom. During the warmer months, you can step outside and enjoy a fire pit, outdoor sitting areas, and more. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
Hotel Luna Mystica is located approximately eight miles outside of Taos so on clear nights, make sure to look up as you head into your trailer. The night sky is beautiful.
If you don’t want to sleep in the vintage trailers, during the warmer months, the Starlight Campground is available nearby.
