This beautiful and luxurious hotel is located in Albuquerque and is not only a popular place to stay, but it also has an interesting story and is a place to go if you are searching for a thrill.
Welcome to Hotel Parq Central. This beautiful hotel is located on Central Avenue in Albuquerque.
This hotel features 74 guest rooms, including 15 suites and three cottages. There are also numerous amenities to enjoy during your stay including complimentary breakfast, shuttle services, and a rooftop lounge.
While Hotel Parq Central may seem like a typical luxury hotel in New Mexico, it has a history that may bring your nightmares to life.
Hotel Parq Central was not always a hotel. In fact, it was originally a hospital and psychiatric facility.
The original building was constructed in 1924 and served as the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad Hospital. It was then purchased in the 1980s and transformed into a mental health hospital. However, in 2010, a major renovation occurred and it became the luxury hotel that we know today.
The hauntings in this building date back to the time it served as a hospital. Patients would report seeing apparitions, hearing voices, seeing objects move, and feeling the presence of other beings when nobody was there.
Today, many guests at this hotel report similar experiences.
Many guests report feeling watched and the presence of unseen beings. They have also reported hearing voices and shuffling in the stairwells. Several guests have also seen a female apparition on the third-floor wing. A group of ghost hunters visited Hotel Parq Central and claim they communicated with a ghost with the use of a flashlight.
While this historic hotel in New Mexico may be beautiful, luxurious, and amenity-filled, are you brave enough to spend the night?
