Built in 1864, Elaine's was originally the private residence of Dr. Reed and his daughter Emily, who contracted Tuberculosis. She died at an early age and it is believed her spirit still remains. Guests have reported hearing laughter and knocking noises, along with other unexplained activity. Several other spirits are said to reside here (all friendly), including that of a cat.

Ghost Hunter's Weekend will begin this year on Friday, October 13th. The event includes a two night stay. On Friday evening, there will be a welcome reception with champagne and dessert.
