We might be a small, heavily urban state here in New Jersey, but when the leaves start to change, we all love to head to the country! New Jersey's fall foliage season is amazing, and it'll be coming up soon, which is why the rush is on to find the perfect leaf-peeping trip - and some top locations might get pretty crowded. That's why I went looking for hidden gems - and I found an incredible one on the Jersey Shore. This unique Airbnb in Somers Point is called Leenie's Garden Hideaway, and it's an amazing retreat for a couple - an intimate mother-in-law suite connected to a house with a gorgeous private garden and some truly unique amenities. There's no better place to take in New Jersey's wonder in your own little getaway!

Flanked by trees in the middle of a quiet shore town, Leenie's Garden Hideaway is an under-the-radar destination hiding a big surprise - one of the most unique Airbnbs in the entire Garden State. Step inside with us to discover its secrets.

With a whimsical nautical vibe, this small mother-in-law suite comes fully furnished with wifi, a TV, and a dining area with microwave, making it an ideal spot for a quick getaway.

The suite sleeps two people, with most guests likely to be couples - but in case you're traveling with a friend, it comes with two bedrooms so everyone gets their personal space. Keep in mind that due to the shared access, this is an 18-and-up getaway.

If there's a winner for the most beautiful town on the Jersey Shore, it just might be Ocean Grove. This pastoral town of around 3,000 people is known for being a laid-back refuge from the nearby hustle and bustle of Asbury Park. It's also home to some of the best vacation rentals in the state, ideal for families on vacation. There are many strong candidates, but our favorite Airbnb in Ocean Grove has got to be a renovated Victorian house that now sleeps eight. Located on the second and third floor of a stately mansion, this is the perfect place for a larger family looking for a spot right by the beach for an extended stay. Every corner of this Victorian Airbnb is full of stunning decor and great details that will make your latest vacation the best you've ever had on the Jersey Shore.

It's easy to see this massive Airbnb from far away - it almost feels like a castle waiting on the river.

That river would be the beautiful Wesley Lake, which winds through the town. You can sit on the porch and take in the view as soon as you arrive.

But the inside is just as stunning as the outside. This might be a Victorian home, but the inside is thoroughly modern with beachy vibes - and all the amenities you could ask for including wifi, TV, and an outdoor barbecue grill.

There are many great restaurants in Ocean Grove and nearby, but if you want to stay in one night, the full kitchen is very welcome.
