At these hotels, ghost stories, and unexplained phenomena, are not uncommon -- and have been talked about for decades. Today we're looking into seven haunted hotels in New Jersey that are sure to make your stay, well, memorable. Let's take a look:
Rumor has it that a woman in the 1960s, known only as Miss Brown, forgot her room key and attempted to climb her way in. She fell to her death and never left. There have since been reports of vibrating beds, swaying furniture, and mysterious lights at this most haunted hotel in New Jersey.
It is said that there are multiple spirits haunting this centrally located boutique hotel in Cape May. Sightings of a shabbily dressed waitress in the dining and kitchen areas have been reported along with claims of moving silverware. Room 10 is said to be the summer home of a spirit from the 1940s who often loudly drags her trunk about. This room is certainly one of the most haunted places to stay in this hotel!

Legend has it that a man once jumped from the 10th floor of the parking garage. Some say he still haunts the area around this Atlantic City hotel.

Over the years, there have been many reports of ghosts strolling the corridors and sounds of children playing in the lobby when none are present. We don't know about you, but this hotel, part of our epic haunted road trip, is giving us total Shining vibes. It absolutely seems like one of the most haunted hotels in the state!
Built in 1814, the Union Hotel has been home to a significant amount of paranormal activity. Doors have been said to slam shut and bar stools have been seen spinning for no reason.
This is such a lovely place to stay that some guests never want to leave! There have been several reports of supernatural sightings at this most haunted hotel.
As one of the most haunted hotels on the beach, it has become fairly famous for its creepy history. Named after a cemetery in Belgium, this hotel once hosted covert crime boss meetings in its catacombs. It has also hosted several ghosts, the most famous of which is a young red-haired woman. There have also been reports of a small child and a middle-aged man haunting the premises. These spirits can be heard laughing throughout the building and have even been spotted by numerous guests.
