Galloway is one of New Jersey's fastest-growing areas, a township on the edge of Atlantic City that's quickly gaining a positive reputation for its standard of living and beautiful surroundings. It's also gaining steam as a vacation destination - after all, it's only minutes away from AC and a relatively quick drive to Cape May, Wildwood, and other shore spots. That means finding the best vacation home rental in Galloway, NJ can be worth its weight in gold. One surefire candidate for that award is a charming lakeside retreat on the banks of a nearby lake. Even for those of us who live near the beach and can visit whenever we want, it still feels like a pretty special destination. Something about feeling the sand between your toes and the cool breeze blowing over the water has the ability to make you feel immediately relaxed. Here in New Jersey, we've got no shortage of amazing spots to spend time on the water, whether you're looking for shoreline along the Atlantic Ocean or prefer to check out our multitude of lakes and rivers. No matter what season it is, many of us love being on the coast, because a walk along the waterfront is a tranquil experience that has no substitute. If you're looking for the perfect place to spend some time by the water, we think you'll love the charming Airbnb we're featuring today. The Octopus Cottage is an adorable, colorful cephalopod-themed hideout in East Township, New Jersey that's right by the water and offers up a great spot for a few nights away.

We might be a small, heavily urban state here in New Jersey, but when the leaves start to change, we all love to head to the country! New Jersey's fall foliage season is amazing, and it'll be coming up soon, which is why the rush is on to find the perfect leaf-peeping trip - and some top locations might get pretty crowded. That's why I went looking for hidden gems - and I found an incredible one on the Jersey Shore. This unique Airbnb in Somers Point is called Leenie's Garden Hideaway, and it's an amazing retreat for a couple - an intimate mother-in-law suite connected to a house with a gorgeous private garden and some truly unique amenities. There's no better place to take in New Jersey's wonder in your own little getaway!
