Lincoln/Woodstock KOA offers a way to channel your inner pioneer - complete with covered wagon! Spend the night and get ready for adventure when you head to this hideaway in the forest. Not only will you feel like a homesteader out on the land, but you'll also get a multitude of opportunities to explore this breathtakingly beautiful corner of New Hampshire.
Pack your bags and prepare for this rather unique New Hampshire experience.
The base of your adventure is nestled within the 800,000 acres of the White Mountain Region. This stunning area has endless recreational activities but before we dive in any further let's check in and check out the Lincoln/Woodstock KOA.
This little pioneer paradise is the Conestoga Covered Wagon.
The Lincoln/Woodstock KOA hosts numerous sites for any of your camping needs (RV, tent, and cabin) but the Conestoga is undoubtedly a favorite for anyone wanting an Old West-style night away.
Don't be deceived, this wagon can comfortably fit an entire family of four!
The wagon contains a king sized bed and bunkbeds in addition to a table, Keurig, and fridge. Fresh linens and air conditioning are included, too. You may not be able to run cattle but smaller four-legged friends are also welcomed at the KOA!
The Conestoga also includes additional outdoor seating and firepit for weary cowpokes.
Exchange your campfire stories and grilled grub before hitting the hay. This glamping experience is complete with private modern plumbing next door to the covered wagon.
After you and your little settlers have settled in, the real pioneer adventures can begin!
The KOA offers all sorts of recreation including a swimming pool, disc golf course, mini golf, and even rides on an old firetruck. However, those wanting to continue the pioneer-themed trip can venture to the Pemi River! The Pemigewasset is a short hike away and can indulge tubers, swimmers, and fishers.
Pioneers will also be fond of the endless scenery.
Remember you're surrounded by the White Mountains! Campers with younger pioneers can have plenty of fun exploring around the KOA and Pemi River. However, those wanting to add a rugged adventure to their covered-wagon camping can take on the nearby Mount Pemigewasset Trail.
The Conestoga Covered Wagon may be a bit more glamp than rugged but families will cherish their pioneer adventure at the KOA!
Would you want to stay inside a covered wagon for the night? Add it to your tour of New Hampshire glampgrounds. New Hampshire can provide the accommodations for whatever kind of adventure you're wanting to have!
