This is one of the best times of year to spend time enjoying New Hampshire's bed and breakfasts. While the leaves change color and the temperatures get cooler, there's nothing cozier than snuggling up in a cozy room with the attention to detail only found in a family home. If you're looking for a great place to stay this season, this one might be a great option. Especially considering they've got their own winery right on the property!
Lake Winnipesaukee is one of the most recognizable natural features of New Hampshire.
And we can't deny that anything with the same name always draws our attention. Especially when it offers wine! Winnipesaukee Winery is a tiny little spot located in Wolfeboro that you might miss if you're not looking for it.
They're known for their three-year-old French oak barrel aged reds and a large selection of dry to sweet wines.
Many have won awards and all of their wines are made right on their farm in Wolfeboro.
They recently planted their own French hybrid Seyval Blanc, Traminette and Minnesota varietal Edelweiss grapes. That means a harvest in 2021 and you can bet we'll be there to see what they create!
The winery is cozy and totally family run, making it a great place to visit if you love supporting local New Hampshire businesses.
We love the winery, but we might love the fact that you can actually sleep here even more!

Today there are three rooms each newly updated with warm and cozy touches.
And of course the breakfast is out of this world!
While you're here, visit the antiques barn! It's housed in the historic three-story dairy barn that also dates back to 1760. It's one of the oldest barns in the state and it offers another great way to enjoy your visit to Wolfeboro.
