There's a lot to love about New Hampshire. So much, in fact, that you don't really need to venture beyond the state border to have a good time. While you're exploring everything there is to see, do, and experience here in the Granite State, be sure to include some overnight stays. A staycation in this totally unique treehouse is something you won't forget.
Welcome to the Treetop Sanctuary in Dunbarton, New Hampshire!
Located 30-feet in the air, connected by a boardwalk to the host's main house, you've never seen or experienced anything like this before!
While this forest oasis is high in the air, there are no huge stairs to navigate in order to reach it. Simply cross the 75-foot boardwalk from the main home. Somehow, despite being easily accessed, this little treehouse feels totally secluded.
While we'd definitely consider this a glamping experience, there's a whole lot of rustic going on here, too.
The sleeping loft has a queen size mattress, but you'll need to bring your own linens or sleeping bag. There's an area to cook, but be sure to bring your own pots and pans. Or, you can cook in the kitchen of the main home.
While small, you don't need much more room than this to enjoy your time here. The idea is to immerse yourself in nature and that's fairly easy to do.
The entire roof is clear, so you can experience nature without even going outside. Although, you're going to want to feel that breeze and listen to the trees rustle.
Especially in the fall when the leaves are changing.
Even winter is a great time to visit.
The property is about 5-acres and includes hiking trails. And there's a conservation area adjacent for folks who love being active.
And when the sun goes down there's no better place to be!
The Treetop Sanctuary is about $200 per night and can be booked on Airbnb. Remember to bring your own sleeping bag to stay nice and cozy! And for another treehouse option that's a bit more rustic, we've got another option for you. You can sleep in the middle of an enchanting woodland forest at Ling Treehouse in New Hampshire.
