Purity Spring Resort in Madison is tucked into an area of New Hampshire between the Lakes Region and the White Mountains. Since 1911, the resort has been dedicated to helping visitors find fun and relaxation in its purest form, away from the daily distractions of modern life.

King Pine Ski Area is the winter companion to Purity Spring Resort. King Pine offers skiers of all abilities and ages plentiful trails ranging from bunny slopes to black diamonds. There are also 20 kilometers of nordic trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

For the young and/or young-at-heart, there's Pine Meadows Tubing Park at King Pine. The park's groomed tubing chutes provide a smooth ride down and a tow will give you a ride back to the top for another run.

Tohko Dome Ice Skating Rink is located right across from the main King Pine lodge. The rink is family-friendly and welcomes skaters of all abilities. To keep warm between laps around the rink, a warming station is also on-site.

Enjoying a full day skiing the slopes or snowshoeing through the woods is sure to build up an appetite. Fortunately, Traditions Restaurant, Café & Pub. The restaurant serves up hearty breakfasts to get you going and delicious dinners in the evening to refuel. To-go family meals are also available seasonally.

In fact, during the summer, one of the most thrilling things to do in New Hampshire is tubing in North Conway at Cranmore Mountain Resort!

In the summer, North Conway's Cranmore Mountain Resort opens up its incredible summer adventure park, which offers a range of activities and things to do in New Hampshire that your whole family will adore.

There's nothing quite like a Cranmore Mountain Resort summer!

One of its most family-friendly summer attractions is summer mountain tubing, where you shoot down a 400-foot drop on a slippery chute. There's even a conveyer belt to the top, so you can keep going again and again! Who says tubing in NH is only for the winter?

This ride is perfect for kids. They need to be at least 42 inches tall to ride alone, but smaller kids can ride with an adult.

There are plenty of other great thrills in this park as well. Kids will especially adore the giant swing at the base of the mountain that'll take you far higher in the sky than anything you've experienced before. It's a wild experience and one of the most enjoyable things to do in New Hampshire this time of year.

Check out the Omni Mount Washington Resort, one of the very best hotels in New Hampshire.

Omni Mount Washington Resort was designed by Charles Alling Gifford and constructed between 1900 and 1902. It is one of only three survivors of New Hampshire's era of grand hotels that flourished between 1880 and 1910. These elegant getaways were built to attract the elite class of tourists from cities like Boston.

Some things have changed since this scene in 1920, but much of the spirit and spectacle of Omni Mount Washington Resort remains the same a century later.
