New Hampshire is a great place to get closer to nature. Whether you enjoy a walk outside in the morning while you grab a cup of coffee or something more adventurous involving a hike, there's something about that fresh air that refreshes and revives us. And if a few hours is good an overnight trip is even better! Plan one in this yurt with incredible views of the mountains and you'll be reminded just why we love this place so much.
One of the most beautifully rustic overnight stays that can be had in New Hampshire is located in Bethlehem, in the White Mountains.
Nestled within 17 acres of land, this off-the-grid yurt provides the peace and quiet so many of us need these days. And it's got some of the most incredible views you'll find!
The yurt is built on a platform which allows for better viewing. And the chairs on the back deck make the perfect spot for relaxing and taking it all in.
Inside you'll find the yurt to be cozy and comfortable with a pull-out bed that's perfect for two guests.
While you won't find electricity here, you'll probably realize that it's not very necessary. There's plenty of light provided with the battery operated lights inside. Plus, you'll probably want to head to bed early to wake up and enjoy the five miles of single track trail that will take you right into Bethlehem.
When it's warm out, you'll love that the dome skylight in the roof opens for ventilation letting in that sweet mountain air.
While things here are certainly rustic without heat and electricity, there's a lovely outdoor shower that has hot water.
And the compost toilet is so much better than a typical port-a-potty. No smelly situation here, just freshness!
The yurt can be booked throughout the year, but in the winter be sure to bring lots of layers and blankets.
You'll find it totally worth it when you see just how picturesque the area can be in the snow. And, of course, you can't beat the relaxing vibes of a snow-covered New Hampshire forest.
But whenever you plan your stay you can be sure that you can't get any closer to nature! And that might just be what w all need these days.
The Trailside Yurt can be booked through Airbnb for about $90 per night depending on the season. You can check it out here. For those looking for more unique stays, we've got another fantastic choice. There's a hobbit-themed Airbnb in New Hampshire and it's the perfect little hideout.
