Wheeeee!!! Remember how fun it was to spend those snowy winter days of childhood flying down neighborhood hills on our trusty sled? Then we trudged right back up the hill - out of breath by the time we reached the top - to do it all over again. All day long until we heard our names called for dinner or the streetlights came on, whichever came first. Relive some of that childhood fun, without having to trudge back up a mountain this time, when you visit this snow tubing park in Missouri.
Pile the whole family in the car for an action-packed winter day of snow tubing on the Polar Plunge at Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Wildwood.
Grab a tube; climb on the magic carpet, and head to the top of the mountain for your first ride down the mountain.
Even better? Hidden Valley Ski Resort boasts the "largest snow tubing hill in Missouri," so you know you're in for plenty of action and winter thrills.
However, you'll have to follow a few rules. Only one person per tube. You can't link with other tubers for your journey downhill either.
Snow tubing sessions last three hours. If you start to get chilled, warm up in front of a roaring bonfire before zooming back down the hill again.
You'll find other winter outdoor activities in Missouri right at Hidden Valley, including skiing and snowboarding.
When you need to warm up and have a bite to eat, head indoors to the Tubing Cafe or to the Main Lodge Cafeteria. The cafeteria, for example, serves a large selection of food - from salads to burgers.
A three-hour snow tubing session costs $26 per guest. If you visit on Sunday between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., you'll pay just $20 for your session of Missouri snow tubing.
