Kansas City might be a great place to live, with everything at your fingertips, but what about when you want to get away for awhile? There are inns all over to choose from, but it's tough to narrow it down to just one that'll provide everything you want and more. Suburbs and smaller cities nearby are a great place to start! Let's head to Independence for a place to sleep you'll never forget.
Welcome to the warm and inviting Silver Heart Inn. It's a bed and breakfast you'll never forget!
The original home was built in 1856 by a man named Napolian Stone. It was shaped like a T and surrounded by gorgeous fields and orchards.
The house was split in two by a later owner in 1923, and the piece facing Noland Road is what is now used as the inn.
And what an inn it is! The courtyard out in the back is a quiet little place that's perfect for a cup of tea and a good book.
Unless you like to stay warm, that is. The best place to keep warm is the new hot tub in the enclosed patio.
Can you imagine kicking back and enjoying a nice glass of wine over here? That sounds like heaven to me!
They have plenty of spacious rooms to suit any mood.
Whether you're looking for a bright, upbeat theme or a romantic getaway, they've got a sweet suite for you.
Everything is warm and cozy, which is just what you want when you're on a vacation, no matter how short or close to home.
They also host murder mystery nights, where a ticket gets you an amazing dinner and an exciting evening of acting and solving the crime of the night.
And of course, you can expect a warm breakfast in the morning when you wake up.
Does blueberry French toast sound good? I can practically smell it from here!
