Some of Mississippi’s best sites are also the most hidden – and that’s exactly the case with the Blue Lagoon. Tucked away in a tiny town, the one-of-a-kind swimming spot includes one million gallons of sparkling water surrounded by gorgeous white sand. Oh, and did I mention there’s a zip-line that stretches over the Blue Lagoon? This secluded swimming spot is sure to become a new favorite. Take a look:
Home of the Blue Lagoon, Tylertown is a small town that delivers in a big way when it comes to summertime fun.
The one-of-a-kind swimming spot is part of Paradise Ranch and Resort - a campground that includes waterfront RV sites as well as primitive sites.
Situated near Bogue Chitto, the campground also offers kayak and tube rentals.
But of all the incredible amenities, the Blue Lagoon is probably the most popular.
The unique swimming spot started off as a man-made lagoon - hence the name.
Earlier this year, the lagoon received a fantastic makeover, making it even better.
In addition to cementing the bottom, a kiddie pool was added.
The end result? A secluded swimming pool that's surrounded by great scenery. And the best part is a day pass will only cost you $10!
Despite being updated, the Blue Lagoon has kept some of its original features, such as the charming lighthouse...
...white sand beach, and the zip-line that stretches across the lagoon.
