Originally built in 1907 by a man named Theodore Jameson, the Historic Jameson still welcomes overnight guests to this very day. The structure is both a hotel and a restaurant, and it may just be the creepiest place to sleep in town.
Each room looks like it is straight out of the early 1900s. You may just forget what century you're in from the moment you step inside. However, its historic charm isn't the only thing the Jameson has become known for.
There are plenty of creepy legends surrounding the old bed and breakfast, but the most famous regard a ghost named Maggie. It's believed that Maggie was a frequent guest at the hotel when it first opened. Legend has it that her beloved left her and she spent her final days at the Jameson waiting for him to come back.
Guests have witnessed Maggie's presence in a variety of ways. Objects have moved without explanation, sinks have turned on by themselves, and doors will randomly lock and unlock. Some people have even claimed that they've seen her reflection.
In fact, guests can stay in the exact room that Maggie occupied all those years ago. For just $90 a night, you can take a chance on seeing her for yourself!
