Guests can view the night sky through high-tech telescopes and astronomy binoculars, but the night sky as seen with the naked eye is quite incredible as well.
In fact, Maui’s location approximately 20 degrees above the equator makes it the perfect spot to view 80 of the 88 constellations throughout the year - how cool is that?
The Director of Astronomy uses a computer to select a nightly agenda, locate and identify a thousand different objects in the sky - including stars, planets, galaxies and nebulae.
It is suggested you book your tour in advance, because they only allow 14 people on each tour. For a little more romance, you can book your spot on the couples-only Romance Tour of the Stars where you will experience the night sky accompanied by chocolate covered strawberries and champagne.
