3. Sweetwater Creek State Park, Lithia Springs

Sweetwater Creek State Park is such a fun place in Lithia Springs. Though it's only about 15 miles west of Atlanta, it feels like another world away. There's even a creepy trail here where you can see the ruins of an abandoned mill!

High Falls State Park is a 1,000-acre park that's home to the highest waterfall in Central Georgia.
