Get your tents, hiking boots, and other camping gear and get ready to enjoy Georgia nature this summer. As always, it's always beautiful and always gorgeous! Check out these 10 amazing camp grounds in Georgia that will take your breath away:
1) Amicalola State Park
Not only is this one of the most scenic nature parks in Georgia, it's also a pretty comfortable camping spot. The camp grounds are equipped with electricity, water, picnic tables, grills and comfort stations with laundry on site.

2) Andrews Cove Campground
Not as lush as Amicalola-- but still just as scenic. Get some good trout fishing in and take a hike. Clean water and toilets are available at this campground.
3) Bald Mountain Resort
If you want to camp in style, check out this resort! It features multiple pools, a volleyball court, playgrounds and a lake for fishing. Of course, it also comes with all the basics, such as electricity, water and a fire ring.

4) Bear Creek Trail
If you're a true camper, then this is your place! The camp grounds are accessible by walkers only and the only amenities are two toilets. Talk about living on the land!
5) Black Rock Mountain State Park
This park features some of the highest ground in Georgia, which makes for cooler temperatures. You can take in the majesty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, lakes, and streams while also taking advantage of the electricity and water at the campgrounds.

6) Cloudland State Park
This park is considered one of the best places for Georgia camping. Do you agree? They have multiple options for back country campers, and walkers as well. They host amenities such as restrooms, showers, fire rings, picnic tables, electricity and pit privys. With all that--plus the beauty of this park--it just can't be beat!

7) Desoto Falls Campground
The ultra-dense forest has many creeks that are simply perfect for trout fishing! Pictured here is the upper falls which have no amenities, but the lower falls do have toilets, showers and parking.
8) Fort Mountain State Park
Here is a shot of the sun gleaming over the horizon at Fort Mountain State Park Beach. If you're new to camping, you might want to try this park out for size. They have the "First Time Camper Program" specifically designed for newbies. You can get out there and hike, bike, swim, or geocache.

9) Magnolia Springs State Park
Equipped with comfort sites, electricity and water, there are plenty of opportunities to canoe and hike in the Cypress Tree filled lake. This park is also home to two Civil War POW sites if you're into Georgia history!

10) Panola Mountain
This beautiful campground is in my hometown of Stockbridge, Georgia. Hiking, biking, tree climbing, archery and junior ranges--the options of activities are limitless! They have five primitive camp sites where you can chill and just have fun!
