Andrews Cove Recreation Area is one of the most peaceful spots you can camp in Northern Georgia.
Just 15 minutes outside of Alpine Helen, you’ll find this serene mountaintop to camp in the middle of the wilderness.
Occupancy sites are on a first come, first served basis, so no reservations will be necessary.
At just $12 each site per night, you’re able to camp creekside, with the sound of rushing water to lull you to sleep.
You won't find too many campgrounds with a stream running right through like this one.
Being immersed in the wild will give you a newfound appreciation for those creatures that call Andrews Cove home.
Drinking water is provided from the old-fashioned hand pump at the campground, plus you'll enjoy standard amenities such as restrooms, picnic tables, grills, and lantern posts.
Guests can hit the nearby hiking trails, or with a proper permit, fish in Andrews Creek.
Don’t expect any fancy setups, as each site does not come equipped with water or electricity.
Which means it’s just you and nature, creating the ultimate outdoor dreamscape.
