With Labor Day weekend now behind us, it's time to bid sweet summertime adieu and say hello to our colorful friend, autumn! Although summer is always associated with fun-filled activities, every season in Colorado is overflowing with places to go and things to do. If you're looking for suggestions, we recommend taking a soak in this all-natural Colorado infinity pool:

You’ll Never Forget Your Stay At Wupperman Campground, A Waterfront Campground In Colorado

Looking for an incredible, waterfront spot to go camping? You're going to love Wupperman Campground near Lake City, Colorado. This is a Hinsdale County-owned, public campground that is located on the eastern side of beautiful Lake San Cristobal, and all 31 of its sites offer plenty of space and unforgettable views. It's easy to see why we think that this is the best campground near Lake City, Colorado, and we even think that it may be one of the very best in the whole state. Read on to learn more about it.

Have you been to Lake San Cristobal? It's one of Colorado's most beautiful lakes. It was formed only about 700 years ago when a natural landslide created a dam across the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River. It's very blue due to the sky reflecting off sediment from the river floating in the lake before it settles at the bottom.

This lake is popular with anglers; a variety of species of trout live in the lake. Lake San Cristobal is also great for boating. Canoes, kayaks, and fishing boats are available to rent from local businesses, or you can bring your own craft. There's a public boat ramp and dock on the west side of the lake.

Camping at Wupperman Campground is fantastic! This campground is first come, first served - reservations are not accepted. There are 31 sites here to try!

It's open from Memorial Day weekend to the last week of September every year.

This campground is at 9000' so be prepared for the elevation and for cool temperatures, but you'll love everything about this place.

This 5,112-acre state park is beautiful, and it's full of fun things to see and do. There are 55 miles of trails, wildlife to watch, incredible views, and so much more!
