It seems that almost every business around Cincinnati gets into the holiday spirit with some festive decor, both inside and out. It's a great time of year to visit restaurants, bars, and other attractions as we celebrate the Christmas season. One spot in the Queen City goes all out when it comes to holiday decor and it's done it once again this year. Miracle at The Overlook Lodge is a pop-up Christmas bar in Cincinnati that may just be the most festive place in the entire city. Kids don't get to have all the fun this season, so grab a few friends (and maybe an "ugly" Christmas sweater) and go check it out.

Overlook Lodge in Pleasant Ridge may not look like much from the outside, but this unique bar is fun all year long.

Originally inspired by the movie The Shining, the bar hosts a number of themes throughout the year. All holidays seem to be a big deal here, especially at Christmastime.

For the past few years, Overlook Lodge has hosted Miracle, a pop-up Christmas bar.

This themed pop-up can actually be found in dozens of bars across the country and it all started in New York. Overlook Lodge is happy to host the only destination of its kind in Cincinnati.

Walking from the plain exterior into this transformed space is quite the experience.

It looks as if Buddy the Elf and Clark Griswold teamed up for the ultimate Christmas decor contest. The walls are literally wrapped in paper, there are lights and garland everywhere, and even the bar stools are perfectly outfitted in case Santa decides to stop by for a cocktail.

You may find a strand of lights and a little Christmas tree in most bars, but that is absolutely not the case here.

The entire space is transformed and will remain decorated until Christmas. Miracle has a different theme each year, so even if you visited last year, there are new things to see in 2019.

Every inch of the bar has something twinkling or sparkling - even the ceiling.

This is a great place to meet up with friends, enjoy a date night, or just stop by for a drink in the most magical bar in Cincinnati.

Of course, the drink menu has transformed for the holidays as well and there is something for everyone.

Choose from themed drinks like the Run, Run Rudolph, Bad Santa, or the alcohol-free Peppermint Patty.

So many holiday events and light displays focus on the kids, so it's a fun experience to visit a place that is all about the (slightly) older generations.
