There's a simplicity of the good old days that's getting harder and harder to come across in this fast-moving society. Take some time to slow down and enjoy the simple things when you visit the B&B in Sonora that's delightfully old-fashioned. Featuring themed rooms that will each take you back to a different era, this place is a true treasure of the past.
Take a step back in time when you stay at Royal Olive Manor in Sonora. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, everything about this B&B exudes elegant beauty.
The Royal Olive Manor opened as a "Bed and Brunch" in 2019. The house that it resides in was originally built in the late 1800s by a man named George Hale, the owner of the town's first lumber and sawmill business.
Family owned and operated, visitors of Royal Olive Manor are meant to feel immediately welcomed and part of the family. The B&B does a great job of blending Victorian-era beauty with all of the cozy comforts of home!
The really cool thing about Royal Olive Manor is that each room is meant to depict a certain time period. For instance, the Bemis Room is inspired by one of the daughters of Mary Fitch, who lived in the houses from the mid-1920s to the mid-1950s.
The Magdalene Room is named after the third owner of the house, Magdalene Frank. She lived in the houses from 1958 to 2002, and the room evokes the time that she spent as a set designer in Hollywood. There's definitely a certain star power to this cozy room!
Of course, guests are always well-fed at this timeless B&B. Boasting homemade pastries in the morning, brunch before noon, and tea and wine in the afternoon, the entire experience of staying at the manor is simply spectacular.
Experience the enduring legacy of this classic Victorian-era home with a visit to Royal Olive Manor. You're bound to love its old-fashioned charm and hospitality! Learn more about the B&B here.
