You could easily spend a year staying at all of Eureka Springs' unique lodgings. From quirky to luxurious, this town has it all. Texaco Bungalow is one more to add to your must-visits. Let's take a peek inside this drastically renovated gas station.
Nestled in the historic district of Eureka Springs, the Texaco Bungalow is hiding in plain sight.
You may have missed this tiny treasure during your travels but the bungalows are well worth an overnight stop. The building originally operated as a gas station in the mid-1900s and was revived in more recent years with some major remodeling.
Address: 77 Mountain Street, Eureka Springs, AR 72632
You won't believe you're in the same building after you step into your room.
The Texaco is divided into two cottages: the Bungalow and the Bungalette. Both are perfectly cozy for couples enjoying their romantic weekend in Eureka Springs. The multi-room Bungalow suite has comfortable amenities and a full kitchen.
The Bungalette was originally Texaco's mechanics garage.
The studio suite is downright charming and has all the comforts of home. Both bungalows are decorated with vintage Texaco memorabilia and open to a shared deck. After you've explored your room, hop on a trolley to tour the rest of the town. Downtown Eureka Springs is a short three blocks downhill from the bungalows.
Although it's no longer a gas station, the Texaco Bungalow will have you feeling refueled and recharged.
This quirky couples retreat is $100/night. You can book by visiting this site. For more reviews and photos, follow the Texaco Bungalow Facebook Page.
