If you like camping in style, this new luxury trailer park in Arizona deserves a spot on your bucket list. Located at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, The Cozy Peach features nine vintage Airstream campers that have been beautifully renovated to include all the modern amenities you know and love. Tucked away in the mountains, far removed from the chaos of big city life, this charming getaway is calling your name.
Tucked away in the Queen Creek countryside, Schnepf Farms is a fourth-generation family farm with a pick-your-own garden, country store, and bakery.
In addition to all the year-round activities, seasonal events like the ever-popular Pumpkin and Chili Party in October ensure the fun never stops.
In 2020, the farm added a new title to its name: glampground.
The Cozy Peach is a luxury trailer park featuring nine vintage Airstream campers that have been painstakingly renovated to reflect the changing times (without losing their old-fashioned charm, of course).
The trailers sleep between two and four guests, and each one is brimming with character and a unique personality all its own.
No matter which one you choose, there are so many little nostalgic details to appreciate, from original appliances dating to the 1950s to retro paint jobs.
Amenities vary from trailer to trailer, but generally include things like a microwave, small refrigerator, Keurig coffee pot, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.
It's important to note that although all of the campers are equipped with a stove and oven, they're for aesthetic purposes only and non-operational. All cooking can be done outside on the propane grill.
Some of the rentals, including the 1953 Westwood Caravan, feature a spacious living area that flows seamlessly into the kitchen.
Others are a more intimate - reminiscent of a studio apartment without any real separation between rooms - but still just as cozy.
Guests also have several different bed and bath options from which to choose, so you can rest assured there's a setup conducive to your needs.
Several of the trailers have a master bedroom with an attached full bath, while some also include a sleeper or pull-out sofa to accommodate additional guests.
Outside, you'll enjoy a perfectly manicured front lawn complete with a private fire ring and patio furniture.
With sprawling mountain views extending far as the eye can see in all directions, we can't imagine a better place to sip your morning coffee and delight in the gifts of nature.
When you aren't relaxing in your trailer, stroll on over to the farm and see what's ripe for the picking!
There's always something ready for harvest, whether it's juicy peaches in the summer or homegrown squash in the fall, and you'll be just steps away from the bounty.
Address: 24810 South Rittenhouse Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
Please call (480) 987-3100 with any questions you may have.
Please note: The Cozy Peach will reopen for the Fall 2021 season (with 3-4 new trailers, to boot!) in October, just in time for the Pumpkin and Chili Party. Rates vary based on which trailer you book, but generally hover around the $300 range for a two-night stay. Visit the farm's website or Facebook page to learn more and/or make reservations.
