After a recent trip to Page, Arizona, with one of my best friends, I was able to check off a few items from my bucket list. I love living in Arizona with all of its natural wonders, incredible restaurants, and comfortable accommodations! In order to get the most out of our trip to Page, we decided to stay on Lake Powell at the aptly named Lake Powell Resort. That way we were close to everything we wanted to do all while enjoying some of the most scenic views in Northern Arizona.

Lake Powell Resort is conveniently located at the shores of Lake Powell at Wahweap Marina in Page, Arizona. Lake Powell is also within the Navajo Nation and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Staying at Lake Powell Resort means that you are staying in a national park. And this particular national park offers everything from scenery and hiking to swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, camping... and so much more.

This is where our outdoor bucket list adventures began...

After driving after dark and through some unexpected snow, we arrived at Lake Powell Resort around 10 p.m. our first night. We lost an hour once we arrived on the reservation, as Navajo Nation is in the same time zone as Utah.

The resort has a total of eight separate buildings for its lodging, and we were assigned a first-floor room in Building 8. While the room was slightly dated with popcorn ceilings, the beds were quite comfortable for us to pass out in after a five-hour drive.

The next morning, we woke up early to a beautiful day and decided to explore the resort property before our Antelope Canyon X tour. First, we grabbed a coffee from the lobby cafe, which serves Starbucks, checked out the breakfast buffet in the dining room (it looked delicious but neither one of us had an appetite at that moment), and then sat by the pool overlooking the lake just outside the lobby's backdoor.

With such gorgeous water views, I couldn't think of a more relaxing place to be at that moment. We also had views of the marina packed with houseboats and thought of how fun it would be if, someday, we rented one for a week.

Our self-guided property tour also took us to the lobby gift shop, which has some of the best-designed souvenirs - from soft tees and hoodies to water bottles, mugs, and more (my bestie bought me a Lake Powell mug and, I have to say, it's my new favorite!).

We then decided to get ready for our tour and, on the way back to our room, passed by another pool area with a hot tub. I made a mental note to relax in the hot tub that evening. The property also has an on-site restaurant and bar along with a fitness center. Honestly, it has everything a guest could possibly want in a resort!

Lake Powell Resort is such an incredible home base for exploring Glen Canyon, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend, all of which we were able to easily do over our weekend stay. So, would I stay here again? Absolutely! I loved being so close to the lake, the resort staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was quite comfortable.

While you're in Page, do yourself a favor and take a tour of one of the slot canyons in Antelope Canyon. This is a bucket list adventure that's so incredibly scenic you won't be able to put your camera down!
