Talkeetna holds the Meandering Moose Lodging, a lovely little property that has a lodge with suites, and four cute little log cabins, in a variety of sizes to accommodate your family or friend group.
The large cabin can sleep up to 10 people.
The smaller cabins are perfect for smaller groups or families. Each has at least a queen bed, so it's perfect for a romantic weekend away with your significant other for rest and relaxation.
There are lots of lovely artistic touches around each cabin.
The beds are comfortable and the logs make each room cozy. The Cozy Moose log cabin is a dry cabin, although there is an additional bathhouse on the property with two bathrooms, laundry, and a shower.
Regardless of whether the log cabin is a large or small one, each one is equipped with comfy furniture.
The smaller cabins have a tiny house footprint. They still come with a kitchenette, dining room, and bathroom, but in a much smaller space. They even host a loft with two full sized beds for any kids that need a space, too.
The cabins each have their own space and driveway.
They also have WiFi if you’re interested in staying connected during your stay. The host, Michael, can also let you know where all the best fishing spots are in the area!
The whole beautiful property is five gorgeous acres filled with birch trees.
Even though you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, you’re a short one-mile drive from downtown Talkeetna. It’s a truly peaceful retreat for you to get away from it all.
If you’re interested in something a little different than a private log cabin, you can stay in any of the many suites they have available inside the bed and breakfast lodge. These lovely little cabins are available for rent all year long.
