Spring in Virginia -- it's just lovely, isn't it? From the peaceful rain showers to the blossoming of tulips and daffodils, there's magic to be found everywhere you look outside. And, if you're lucky enough to live somewhere near nature, you'll also enjoy the unmistakable song of springtime: birds. We discovered a short and sweet video of birds singing in the spring, and it might just be the most Virginia sound you'll ever hear.
What comes to mind for you when you think about spring in Virginia? Is it the weather? The scenery?
The beautiful blooms that appear in our gardens and throughout the woods?
Or, is it perhaps the unmistakable sound of singing birds? In our opinion, this is perhaps the sweetest sign of all that springtime is here.
From the Eastern bluebird to the Northern cardinal and American robin, there's no shortage of sweet birdsongs to serenade us.
And while these birds aren't necessarily unique to Virginia, there's something about their collective chirps that make us feel nostalgic.
