14. Hired man hauling logs on farm near Waterbury, Vermont. They are then sold to the mill. He said "There ain't nothin' meaner than a log except a woman when she wants to be. They sure can be stubborn."
15. Forest ranger bringing in supplies which he has carried up the mountain on skiis to his hut which is also used by skiers in the winter. About half an hour later on his next trip down the mountain on skiis for more supplies he broke his leg. Near the top of Mount Mansfield, Smuggler's Notch, near Stowe.
