25th Street was once a notoriously dangerous place. During Prohibition, bootleggers dug tunnels from one business to another in order to transport alcohol and prostitutes. Assault and even murder were not uncommon here.
Today, the historic street has been completely revitalized. It's a welcoming place for shopping, dining and entertainment.
Grab a bite to eat on 25th Street - you'll have plenty of dining choices. This is Rovali's Ristorante Italiano (174 25th Street).
Roosters Brewing Co. (253 25th Street) is just one of several places to enjoy a drink with friends.
Catch a comedy show at Wiseguys (269 25th Street).
The amphitheater at 343 E. 25th Street hosts dozens of concerts and events throughout the year.
You'll also find several art galleries on 25th Street. Tour some of them during Ogden's First Friday Art Stroll. Gallery 25 is located at 268 25th Street.
Every December since 1961, 25th Street comes alive with Ogden's Christmas Village.
Ogden's Farmers Market is held on 25th Street from June through September.
While 25th Street has been completely renovated, it still maintains much of its historic charm. The beloved dragon sign that once graced Star Noodle Parlor has been restored and continues to be an iconic sign.
