There are some things that just can't be denied.
In Texas, those include our undeniable pride, tendency to make everything bigger (and better), and - of course - the word "y'all." The following are 11 totally true stereotypes Texans should just accept as fact. See how many you agree with:
1. Our state pride is as big as Texas itself.
It's a difficult task to make it a few blocks without seeing the flag in someone's yard. Not to mention we have Texas-shaped waffle makers and tortilla chips. Texas forever, y'all.
2. Everyone says y'all.
Yes, even if we don't have an accent. It just comes with the territory.
3. Everything really is bigger.
It isn't just a saying. Our mascots, festivals, food, and even grocery stores (think HEB Plus and Super Target) are larger than average, and we wouldn't change a darned thing about it.
4. We love our meat...as long as it's cooked the right way.
Barbecue, chicken-fried steak, chili...you name it. But it has to live up to our immensely high standards or we won't give it a second look.
5. There are two seasons: hot and wet.
Sometimes, they occur simultaneously. Oh, and let's not forget about the two random weeks in January of intense, bone-chilling cold that none of us know how to deal with.
6. We drive big trucks.
Any Texan will tell you it's harder to think of someone they know who DOESN'T drive a truck.
7. High school football is a way of life.
People who don't understand might make fun of us, but we couldn't care less - there's no feeling like the spirit and camaraderie of fans underneath the Friday Night Lights.
8. We're just as friendly as everyone says we are.
"Ma'am," "sir," holding doors, tipping hats...the whole shebang. There's no shortage of Southern hospitality here.

9. You just might see a horse being operated like a car.
It isn't too terribly common, but it happens. All I can say is...Only in Texas.
10. We wear cowboy boots.
What else can we say? They were made for walkin', and that's just what they'll do.
11. We drive a bit...differently than people in any other state.
And by that, I mean the already-high speed limits are more like suggestions instead of obligations.
