This fascinating place will take you and your family on a journey back in time, to the days when brave pioneers and settlers made their way west on the Oregon Trail. You can even take a walk on the real trail and see first-hand how history has left a mark on this amazing place.

Located in Baker City, the Oregon Trail Interpretative Center is a fascinating museum offering living history demonstrations, interactive exhibits and more than four miles of interpretive trails.
This Eastern Oregon museum is one of the best places to learn about the history of the Beaver State.
Inside, you'll find life-size displays that tell the story of the pioneers, explorers, miners and settlers who travelled the Oregon Trail.
These recreations are incredibly realistic, and wonderfully portray the history from this era.
There are also a variety of outdoor exhibits on this 500-acre historic site, including a wagon display, mine shafts and other equipment.
The full-scale wagons will make you appreciate the journey that pioneers undertook.
One of the highlights of a visit to the center is seeing the original ruts of the Oregon Trail carved by pioneer wagons migrating to Oregon 150 years ago.
This well-preserved section of the Oregon Trail proves that history has left a definite mark on this magnificent place.
