Mark Twain's (Samuel Clemens) writing career took off in Nevada while he worked for Virginia City Territorial Enterprise. It was here he (Samuel Clemens) first used his famous pen name, Mark Twain. Because Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) was such an important part of Nevada's history, it's only fitting that all Nevada home offices or libraries have a copy of one of his literary works.

Nevada has some of the most BEAUTIFUL landscapes in the entire country. Because of this, it's not surprising so many Nevadans have pieces of landscape photography displayed throughout their home.

Because mountain biking is a popular outdoor activity in Nevada, it's not uncommon to find a mountain bike propped against the wall inside a Nevadan's garage.
12. Nevada State Flag
Nevadans are SUPER PROUD of their state! After all, they have their own special day of celebration - Nevada Day. Because they're proud of where they come from, you'll usually find many homes in Nevada with at least one state flag in it. Some Nevadans have their state flag framed and hung on their wall.
