I think we can all agree that Louisiana is the best state. The food, the culture, the scenery - there's nothing like it. If you've lived here for any amount of time, you'll certainly relate to these brutally honest statements about Louisiana.
1. We don’t all own or ride alligators in our spare time.
Shocker, right?
2. Although we have been known to eat them on occasion.
Because fried gator is delicious!
3. Speaking of food, Cajun and Creole food is the best.
Gumbo, boudin, po’boys, the list goes on and on…
4. There is nothing better than a Sunday crawfish boil with your family and friends.
Fingers crossed trash day is Monday, though.
5. In the summer, this thing can give you a serious burn.
Worst. Feeling. Ever.
6. Summers in Louisiana can be absolutely unbearable at times.
Heat + humidity = I'm not leaving my house.
7. We serve generous portions.

When people think of Louisiana, it can be easy to think of Mardi Gras and New Orleans, but Louisiana has so much more to offer. From the rolling hills of the northern part of the state to the swamps of the Atchafalaya, each part of Louisiana has something unique to offer.
9. Louisiana is the best state.
The scenery, the food, the people, and the culture all add up to one unbelievable place that we are lucky enough to call home.
