Dorothy said it best, "There's no place like home." While she may well have been referring to Kansas, we happen to think there's no place like Kentucky. We love the Bluegrass State and count ourselves lucky each and every day that this beautiful place is ours. Whether we're returning home from a vacation or simply commuting to work, there's no better sight in the world than the "Welcome to Kentucky" sign.
Rolling hills and horse pastures, charming towns and welcoming cities, scenic beauty for days -- this is the Bluegrass State.
While we here at OnlyInYourState encourage a healthy appetite for travel and adventure, we have to admit: there's no place like home.
And for those of us lucky enough to call the Bluegrass home, there's no better sight than seeing a welcoming Kentucky state sign.
Some of us commute across the river for work each day. At 5 p.m., despite the clog of rush hour, there's nothing better than returning over the bridge, back to the Bluegrass State, and seeing a Kentucky state line sign.
Whether "home" for you is one of the many small towns, "big little cities," or the state's largest locales, there's no place like home in Kentucky.
Kentucky is Horse Country and Bourbon Country; its scenic byways and bucolic countryside are a welcome breath of fresh air all year round.
Kentucky is subterranean wonderlands, Appalachian mountains, and glorious lakes; its varied and breathtaking scenery positively sublime.

Kentucky is proudly Southern, embracing front porch culture, fried chicken, and welcoming hospitality -- you won't find kinder people anywhere else.
For these reasons, and so many more, Kentucky residents are the luckiest. There's no better sight in the world than the "Welcome to Kentucky" sign that embraces us all with open arms.
