1. Cumberland Falls
Each season is pure magic at Kentucky's very own "Niagara of the South." This grand waterfall is beautiful from every vantage point and is fairly accessible, so everyone can enjoy it. 2. The Kentucky Derby
There is nothing quite like being in the stands of Churchill Downs, wearing a big hat and drinking a mint julep, and cheering on the fastest horses in the world. Of course, Kentuckians believe we have the best state parks system in the country, but many outside of our state would agree! 10. Old Frankfort Pike
This one street in Kentucky is truly one of the most beautiful in the world. With a combination of dark wood fencing and stone walls that border rolling hills of horse farms, it's a magical place. When you turn on to this country road, you don't quite know what you're in for and then you realize you've discovered some place special.
11. The Bourbon Trail
Where else on Earth could there be a Bourbon Trail than right here in Kentucky? To go from distillery to distillery and travel through this beautiful part of our state is a memorable experience and one that meets the needs of both Bourbon lovers and those who simply appreciate history and natural beauty.
