Since we've already discussed the most dangerous places to live in Georgia, now we'd Iike to bring you a handful of the safest places to live in Georgia. Georgia is a beautiful state with plenty of safe places to call home, but here are 10 of the best (in no particular order, of course):
1. Johns Creek, GA
By far the largest city of this list with a population of more than 85,000 people, the crime rate in Johns Creek is 77% lower than the average crime rate for the rest of the state.
2. Grovetown, GA
Euchee Park in Grovetown shows some of the peace and tranquility in this small town. With not even 12,000 residents, Grovetown is a bit smaller than other cities on this list, but it's the largest city in Columbia County. Its crime rate is 52% below the state crime rate.
3. Acworth, GA
With a population of more than 20K, the crime rate in Acworth in 2018 was 104.22 per 100,000 people. Not bad!

5. Kennesaw, GA
Pictured is the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield, which is a very important place to learn more about Georgia history during the Civil War. Not only is Kennesaw beautiful, it is also a thriving community of Georgia families. Kennesaw comes in with a crime rate of just 210.8 per 100,000 people.
6. Duluth, GA
A suburb of Atlanta, Duluth is both beautiful and safe. It's safer than 33% of US Cities, and the rate of violent crime is less than one per 1,000 residents.
7. Glennville
Glennville is a beautiful town with a crime rate 40% lower than the state average. It's located in southeastern Georgia.
8. Braselton
Braselton is definitely on the upper-end of our safe places list, with an average crime rate an astonishingly low 80% below the Georgia average crime rate. Violent crime comes in at .008 per captia!
9. Woodstock, GA
Woodstock is vibrant and sunny community in Cherokee County. In 2007, Woodstock was the 10th fastest growing suburb in the country! The overall crime rate is 14 per 1,000 residents - nice.
10. Loganville, GA
This is a relatively small city compared to others on this list, with less than 11K residents. Located half-way in Walton County and the other half in Gwinnett County, it's still a great place for young families. It's got a crime rate of just 1.31 per 1,000 residents.
