When you think of life in Colorado, what comes to mind? If you said snow, hippies, and the Broncos, you definitely have somewhat of an idea. But as any Centennial State resident will tell you, there is so, so much to love about living in Colorado! This is a surprisingly diverse and unique state.

The Rocky Mountain High is definitely a real thing in a number of ways. You can get your highs living in Colorado from the beautiful Rocky Mountains. If your idea of a high is something different, you can purchase it legally from hundreds of licensed dispensaries.
2. Skiing
Colorado is home to some of the very best ski slopes in the country! Get your powder at one of the dozens of area ski resorts.
3. Beer
If your drink of choice is a foamy glass of hops, you’re in luck, as Colorado is home to over 200 breweries. Cheers!
4. On the Go!
Coloradoans are constantly on the move, and it shows. The obesity rate in Colorado is one of the lowest in the United States. Growing up in Colorado gives you so many reasons to stay outdoors enjoying nature that there's really no reason to laze about inside!
5. "Sunny Day, Sweeping the Clouds Away..."

6. Four Seasons
No, this isn't a Frankie Valli reference. Residents of Colorado get to experience winter, spring, summer, and fall in all their seasonal glory. Living in Colorado gives you seasons that a lot of people in the country simply don't get to experience.
7. Way Out West (or East)!
Enjoy purple mountain majesties? Head west toward the Rockies. Or are you more of a "rolling hills as far as the eye can see" kinda guy/gal? Colorado’s eastern plains will give you your fill. No need to leave the state; we’ve got it all! The landscape is so amazing here, no matter what part of the state you are in.
8. Trout, Pheasants, and Bison, Oh My!
Colorado parks have big, small, and aquatic game. Whatever you like to hunt, fish, or observe, there's plenty to tickle your fancy here.
9. Culture
Colorado is a melting pot of several different cultures, backgrounds, and arts. Denver alone offers a vast array of unique museums, exhibits, classes, and experiences you won't find anywhere else.
10. Chipotle
The greatest thing to ever grace your taste buds originated in Denver! Other notable companies from Colorado include Celestial Seasonings, Coors, and Quizno's. Yum!
