The little town of Julian is definitely unique - the entire town is designated as a California Historical Landmark. You'll find it 50 miles northeast of San Diego.
Just 1,500 or so people call this quaint little town home, but it's a popular spot for visitors. You'll soon see why.

Julian is famous for its apples. The climate is perfect for growing apples, and you'll find fresh apples, cider and pies available in the fall.
During the Apple Festival, more than 10,000 apple pies are baked here.
Julian was a gold rush town, and you can tour the Eagle and High Peak Mines today.

Visit the Julian Pioneer Museum to learn more about this town's early history.
The museum is filled with all kinds of antiques and items from the early 1900s.
