5. Wiederkehr Village

Hooray for Wiederkehr! The tiny town of Wiederkehr Village reported a per capita income of $35,847 in 2013. Word has definitely gotten out about the amazing vineyards, great food, and fun wine-tasting tours.

4. Hot Springs Village

One of Arkansas's most tranquil and scenic places to live, Hot Springs Village also brings in big bucks as well. In 2013, the town's per capita income was $36,501.

3. Maumelle

If you were a child of the 80s growing up in central Arkansas, this is where your parents really wanted to buy property. That's for good reason; they saw the future in this prosperous suburb of Little Rock. Maumelle's per capita income in 2013 was $36,838 and rising.

2. Lake Hamilton

Considered by many to be one of the finest places to live in Arkansas, the town of Lake Hamilton is great if you want to have all the scenic beauty of a waterfront property while being close to historic Hot Springs. The per capita income in 2013 for Lake Hamilton was $41,654.

1. Cammack Village

In Little Rock we tell tourists to go to Hillcrest to see where the new-monied hipsters go, but we keep the old money enclave of Cammack Village pretty exclusive--just the way they've always liked it. The per capita income for the community once considered 'west Little Rock' before Chenal Valley came into play had a per capita income of $43,596. (That's pretty good for a locale once considered too far west to be a part of the capital city.)
