Hey, let's brag a little bit, Arkansas...we have some good looking people walking around town and out driving on the highways (hopefully not bringing traffic to a complete stop). We've had a lot of heartbreakers impact history as well - Donna Axum of El Dorado won Miss America in 1964, and former Miss Arkansas 1982 Terri Utley went on to win the Miss USA crown. Let's not forget the legendary Natural State native Johnny Cash's uniquely rugged handsome looks that swept his wife June off her feet or beautiful musician Amy Lee, who was raised in Little Rock, bringing a feminine side back to 21st-century hard rock music while wowing concertgoers with her looks. It's hard to narrow the list of gorgeous Arkansans down to 10, but these people have actually made it to the level of the Beautiful People - they're famous!
10. Bobby Portis
The eyes have it with this young up-and-coming Little Rock player turned NBA pro. Portis, who was picked by the Chicago Bulls in the 2015 NBA Draft, almost follows in the style of NBA legend/fellow Bulls player/Arkansas native Scottie Pippen with his determined (and attractive) game face.
9. Beth Ditto
The punk rock queen of Searcy has been redefining beauty standards since her band, The Gossip, burst on the scene in the early 2000s. Ditto continues to perform, model, and is also a published author.
8. Jessica Serfaty
Conway's Jessica Serfaty was one of two Arkie girls represented in Cycle 14 of America's Next Top Model in 2010. One of the stronger models in the colorful cycle of glamour girls, Serfaty hung in and impressed the judges until her eventual elimination as the 9th model out of the cycle. Serfaty continues to model today, having moved herself as well as husband and son to Los Angeles for work in the industry.
7. Elizabeth Gracen
If you're a fan of 1990s syndicated TV, you'll remember Elizabeth Gracen as the immortal Amanda on Highlander: The Series. Before landing several acting roles in Hollywood, this Ozark native was Miss Arkansas 1981 and went on to win the Miss America crown the next year.
6. Billy Bob Thornton
Life's been good for this native Arkansan who's found success on the big screen and as a musician. Despite his foreboding look in his iconic role as Karl Childers in Sling Blade, Billy Bob Thornton is a pretty suave looker...you know Angelina Jolie saw something there, so the appeal must be real!
5. Kris Allen
A proud resident of Jacksonville and Conway, Kris Allen captured the world's attention as the eighth American Idol. Allen parlayed his great talent and looks into three post-Idol studio albums (four counting his 2007 debut) and continues to wow audiences and woo the ladies with his smooth looks and voice.
4. George Hamilton
The film and television star was born in Memphis, TN but raised an Arkansas boy in Mississippi County in the city of Blytheville. Known for his forever tan and dashing style, Hamilton is timeless and beautiful. His long career began in his teens and includes starring roles in a number of major motion pictures as well as television shows.
3. Mary Steenburgen
We love a good story of a rise to celebrity, and Mary Steenburgen's is a good one to tell. She was born in Newport, Arkansas, and moved to the Big Apple at age 19 to pursue her career in acting. Her films include "Parenthood," "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "Philadelphia," "The Help," and oh-so many more.
2. Alyse Eady
Most Arkansans recognize the beautiful face of Alyse Eady on Little Rock's THV News, but before she became a beloved news personality and anchor she was Miss Arkansas 2010. At the Miss America pageant in 2011, Eady was the first runner up.
1. Dani Evans
2006 would be the breakout year for Little Rock native Dani Evans, who would take home the prize as the winner of the sixth cycle of popular reality show America's Next Top Model. Evans has since worked with such big industry names as Ford Models and has been featured in several high-profile magazines such as Essence, ELLE, and Seventeen. Pretty good for an Arkie girl!
All right, so there's so many more gorgeous people from Arkansas - we know this, of course! What other Arkansans completely wow you with their looks? Sound off in the comments about the Natural State's natives who are easy on the eyes!
