As a top bucket list item for many people around the world, we are lucky to have the Grand Canyon right here in Arizona. But I bet you didn't know that the rocks found at the Grand Canyon are actually older than the dinosaurs. Pretty cool, right?
The Grand Canyon State is home to approximately 17 species of hummingbirds, the most of any state. The largest species found here is the blue-throated hummingbird.
If you're up for a scenic drive, you can take one at Mount Humphreys. Known as the "Around the Peaks Loop," you can take a two-hour drive around the state's highest peak.
