Castle Park Amusement Park in Southern California is one of SoCal's little known gems that deserves a second look. If you've never visited before, this summer is a great time to add it to your activity list.
Address: 3500 Polk Street, Riverside, CA 92505.
Although Southern California may be known for some of the most popular amusement parks on the planet (you know which ones we're talking about) don't let that discourage you from experiencing some of the other local treasures that are worth a visit. And Castle Park is definitely on the list.
There's so much variety here for the whole family to enjoy. Some of the highlights include 35 different thrilling rides, an arcade that both kids and grown-ups will like, and four miniature golf courses. Yes, four. So much fun!
You'll quickly be drawn to this epic roller coaster that will make your stomach drop. In a good way, of course.
You'll even find a spectacular peacock onsite who has the most stunning feathers. It may be the last thing you'd expect to see at a local amusement park... but it sure is delightful.
You'll also appreciate the wide range of prices for the ride park that fits every budget. Show up for the whole day and explore the whole park...
...or pick and choose your favorite rides and only pay for those. It's hard not to love that kind of flexibility so you can essentially build your own adventure.
And let's not forget about the miniature golf courses that are out of this world. As previously mentioned, there are four different places to enjoy a game of miniature golf and they're all a blast to experience.
With well-manicured grounds and varying degrees of difficulty catering to all levels, you'll find the mini golf courses at Castle Park to be the perfect addition to the amusement park.
And when it comes to a hot summer day in SoCal, nothing is better than cooling off in the waterpark when the temps hit the upper digits. It's pure bliss!
