I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and will never tire of the West Coast, although I spent several years living in Southeast Asia, about as far from California as you can get. Wherever I am in the world, I love straying from the beaten path, experiencing local life, and discovering hidden gems - camera in hand. The beach is my happy place and when I am not there (or writing), you will usually find me baking, watching movies, and cuddling my pugs. I have traveled around the country and around the world, and it never, ever gets old. Being able to combine my passion for travel and my love of writing is nothing short of a dream.
There is literally always something new to discover when it comes to food and dining in Southern California, and an enchanting fusion restaurant in West Hollywood is one of the most recent on the scene. If you are a Shakespeare fan, you will recognize this restaurant’s name from the Utopian forest of his famous (and somewhat controversial) play, As You Like It. Like Shakespeare’s mythical forest, West Hollywood’s own Arden feels like stepping out of the real world and into a fairytale, and every meal becomes a sensory experience.
There are three distinct experiences within Arden, beginning outside with the whimsical Arden Cafe.
The menu includes pastries, classic breakfasts like pancakes (pink, of course) and French Toast along with Quiche of the Day, personal pizzas, and delightful sandwiches.
Step inside for dinner or drinks in The Arden Restaurant and Bar, which can only be described as an enchanted garden, with cascades of flowers, cozy seating, ornate chandeliers, and decadent shades of gold and green.
The gorgeous bar not only oozes elegance but serves up a fabulous menu of craft cocktails with names like Respectable, Starry Night, Pocket Full of Gold, and Nothing Gold Can Stay.
The cafe is open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day and is first-come, first-served. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. and reservations are recommended. Have you had a chance to dine at this enchanting fusion restaurant in West Hollywood? We would love to hear about your experience. Find menus, hours, and more on the Arden West Hollywood website. Looking to spend the night or weekend in West Hollywood? You will love the elegant ambiance and great service at The London.
