Do you live for the long and warm months of summer and count down the days until it will arrive in the Mount Rushmore State? As of this publication, there are only a few months to go, which means it is time to begin making your summer bucket list, starting with the epic Aberdeen Aquatic Center in South Dakota:
Located in - you guessed it! - Aberdeen, the Aberdeen Aquatic Center is a large water park that has something fun for everyone in the family!
Slated to open for the season on May 29th (2020), the Aberdeen Aquatic Center is the perfect place to spend a hot summer day, thanks to not only the water but other amenities like soft turf and beach chairs, a concession stand with shaded seating, private cabanas, and more.
Are you looking for a relaxing day in the sun? Begin your visit to the Aberdeen Aquatic Center with a ride down the 350-foot-long lazy river.
If you are looking for something a little more fast-paced and exciting, there is something for you to love at the Aquatic Center, too, beginning with the 30-foot-tall water slide tower, 125-foot-long enclosed body flume slide, 215-foot-long body flume slide, and 280-foot-long raft slide!
Do you just want to make a splash and have a great time? Then take some laps in the eight-lane lap pool, jump off the diving board, and let the littles go crazy atop the multi-level play structure.
Admission to the Aberdeen Aquatic Center is $7.75 for adults, $5.75 for youth ages 2 to 17, and $6.25 for seniors ages 62+.
