In fact, about 180 miles from the coast, there’s a pristine inland beach in South Carolina that’s an incredible spot for a beach day.

Ebenezer Park Beach is located in Rock Hill on the shores of Lake Wylie and is a part of Ebenezer Park on Boatshore Road. The park underwent a $4.6-million renovation from 2019-2021 when the inland beach space was doubled in size.

There's a camping area with 66 campsites with water, sewer, electric, a fire ring, and a picnic table. Reservations can be made 13 months in advance, and the park is open year-round. Tents are restricted to certain sites, and the park does not offer primitive camping at this time.
