Who says you need to wait for Taco Tuesday to enjoy a trio of tasty tacos? Once you visit this tiny Mexican restaurant on the River Walk, you'll want to sink your teeth into these tacos seven days a week.
Papi's Tacos has been serving up the tastiest tacos in Greenville since 2013, and you're going to want to visit. Head to the River Walk, where you'll find it at 300 River St. #123, Greenville, SC 29601.
"Papi" is usually here, making sure that the tacos are in fine form. Jorge Baralles, Sr. has been in the restaurant business for years. Originally from Cuautla, Mexico, he brought his own authentic recipes to the menu.
This tiny taco shop bills itself as a "Taco truck without wheels," and that's pretty accurate. It features a small menu with fresh, authentic street tacos.
You'll find a little bit of seating inside, but you'll probably want to take your tacos outdoors for a river view while you eat.
There's nothing like a trio of tacos to make your day brighter. The menu here is simple and features all the classics like barbacoa, carne asada, carnitas, fish, shrimp, and al pastor (shown here), with fresh grilled pineapple.
Tacos are so simple that they require super fresh, savory ingredients to make them tasty. At Papi's, the meats are perfectly-seasoned, the veggies are fresh, and the homemade salsas and sauces pack a wallop of flavor that will make your tastebuds tingle with joy.
Pair your tacos with some warm chips and fresh guacamole or salsa, and add a Mexican soda to round out your meal.
