There's certainly nothing like a getaway in South Carolina. Whether you love to sleep under the stars or prefer a historic hotel, there's an option for everyone. Prepare for water views that are out of this world, including colorful sunrises and sunsets that will melt your heart.
This RV resort is perched on the shores of Skull Creek, just south of the beautiful Port Royal Sound.
It offers both interior and waterfront sites as well as two rate schedules to reflect different fees for the peak and non-peak seasons.
With 200 sites available, it's quite a large RV park and thus offers a lot of amenities.
There are two pools on-site and both have amazing water views.
The pools are so close to the water that it's easy to feel as though you're hovering just on top of the creek. There's also a wonderful gazebo that's perfect for a picnic over the water.
All of the sites are landscaped and have concrete or brick surface, so leveling your RV or camper is very easy.
Not everyone who camps here actually has an RV, either. Bring your pull camper if you want; you'll be welcomed with open arms. Or, you can always rent an RV through the RV Share website.
Aside from the pools, the RV park has two bathhouses with showers, hot tubs, saunas, a boat ramp, marina slips you can rent to keep your boat in the water during your stay, a tennis court, and a marina store so you can stock up on items you need (including beer and wine) without leaving the resort.
