I’m always intrigued by before and after photos, whether it’s of people, buildings, or DIY projects. It’s fascinating to see the change when something has been renovated or improved or someone has grown after experiencing difficult life experiences. I’m a big sucker for historical building preservation and I love seeing when an old structure is repurposed. I’m reminded of one of my favorite movie lines from the movie, Seabiscuit: “You don’t throw a whole life away just because it’s banged up a little bit.” And one of my favorite examples of this is the building that used to be Folly Drug that now is one of the best happy hour hot spots in South Carolina. Take a look with me, and I think you’ll agree, especially if you’re a beach lover!
