Hunting for treasure - especially vintage items from the past - can supply hours and hours of endless fun in any season. Whether you're taking a road trip to the best thrift stores in South Carolina, or focusing all of your attention on one giant warehouse overflowing with vintage charm, you can't go wrong when you're picking for timeless treasure in the Palmetto State.
The following old tobacco warehouse in Mullins belongs at the top of the list of must-visit places for discovering great finds from the past. Golden Leaf Antique Mall is located in a building with as much vintage charm as the contents within.
This gorgeous old building was built in 1926 as a tobacco warehouse. In that year, 800 people worked inside this warehouse; it's just that big!
Now it's filled with hundreds of vendors and scores of aisles filled with everything you can imagine under the sun.
You can spend hours upon hours taking the time to see it all, from books to housewares, furniture, and more.
The merchandise is always moving in and out, as the vendors here scour the region picking the best of the best to display and sell in their space at Golden Leaf Antique Mall. If you're like us, then you love finding hidden treasures in places just like this one.
You just never know what you'll find, but you can bet you won't be leaving empty-handed!
In the rows and rows of spaces, you'll discover things you didn't even know you wanted. But don't hesitate; if you see something you want, you should buy it because it may be gone the next time you visit!
We can't close without mentioning the marvelous accolades the friendly staff here receives from all who care to comment. And when it comes to antique malls in South Carolina, this one is definitely the most unique we've ever seen, in every respect.
